Megacon 2014: Bollywood steampunk by MakeupSiren Megacon 2014: Bollywood steampunk by MakeupSiren
A photo taken at megacon in my new bollywood steampunk cosplay

I Also recentry did am interview with Steampunkgoggles.com on my new cosplay. Click the link below to check it out www.steampunkgoggles.com/3300/…

Am happy to show you my latest Bollywood Steampunk cosplay. This version I call my sand rider outfit. I want to create an outfit that my Character Sunahalā Rēgistāna would be wearing when she was riding the sands dunes in her sand riders. I decides to use a incorporate a much richer color to my new look. The red was the first color that came to mind and i saw to be the strongest color to use.  I also add some leather and suede to my look to give it that biker feel. No sword was incorporated in this look. I think it would be easier for my character to pull out a gun on her sand rider then a sword.

The Jewelry and the saree was 100% made my me. The Jewelery is a bit simpler then my last set, but still has that steampunk Bollywood flare that I love. The saree fabric I used is the same kind of fabric used for bathing suits. I love the shine the fabric gave off,  pulse it's much easier to walk in. I also hand sew all the trims and studded flower myself.

:happybounce: I hope you all enjoy my new look :happybounce:

:star: Lady Sunahalā Rēgistāna Bio :star:
She is an Indian girl born and raised in Rajasthan, sunny desert of India. Her father named her after the beautiful land she was born in (Sunahala: Golden, Registana: Desert). She is a part of a vast village that is a mix of Indian tradition and steam power future. Her father is a well respected a creator of the town. He created a industrial machines call sand riders, that help the village people ride the large desert sand dunes and hills. She is smart girl, free spirited, and love riding through the sand in her land. She is a skilful swordsman and is handy with a gun. She works side by side with her father, working on new inventions and new way of improving the sand riders (her favorite toy).

Absolutely love the way you have assimilated the Indian aesthetic into your Steampunk couture. It's totally logical that if history had diverged along steampunk lines in the 1800's that other cultures would have been equally influenced and perhaps even gained some ascendancy in ways we can only imagine. Aside from that your design and palette are a awesome and you are the perfect model for it.
