Makeup is my pleasure!!! I love taking makeup and turning it into something amazing. I do anything from simple to over the top and beyond. It's all about creating makeup that is beautifully dangerous

I also cosplay as mush as i can. I make mostly the accessory of my costume, so i like to consider myself a cosplay "STYLES" then a costume maker. But i am learning to do certain costume pieces. If there is any part of my costume I can create myself, i sure as hell will try.

My favorite style of cosplaying is steam punk. I love combination of Victorian fashion with future technology. Also it's one of the great way to create unique cosplay!!

Bollywood Steampunk: Desert Rose by MakeupSiren
Bollywood Steampunk: Desert Rose
When it came to designing this bollywood steampunk cosplay I wanted to use the draping style I seen in the bollywood film "Jodhaa Akbar" I love the way the saree in the movie was done and wanted to do the same kind of style for my bollywood steampunk. The color was another aspect i want to bring into look as well. Steampunk seem to always be on the dark side. I wanted to start bring more color into the bollywood steampunk cosplay. I mean who wants to wear black or brown all the time.

There is always a signature Item I create do when it come to doing my bollywood steampunk and that is my jewelry. It was one of the things i felt would take this look were i wanted it to be. When even I look up inspiration for my cosplay, the jewelery stands out the most to me. I put a lot of time in making each jewelry pieces for ths cosplay and I hope it shows.

I know makeup is your main thing, Ariel, but I wanted to give you a llama badge for your wild west steampunk lady outfit. (Fitting, since I write space westerns with powerful womenfolk!) Here is what I specifically liked: 1) It didn't have a skirt/dress. It seems almost mandatory in the steampunk genre, but the pants look awesome! 2) Bold use of color. You didn't go for the stereotypical brown-tan-brass-copper look. I loved the black and blue! Keep it up! Do you have any more pics on another site of this outfit?
